THROUGH EDUCATION
Who We Are

What We Do
____
— We Find & Fund
We actively identify underserved communities, vulnerable groups, and critical educational and human rights initiatives in need of support. Through strategic partnerships and resource mobilization, we fund projects that advance access to justice, education, environmental protection, and the welfare of women, children, and marginalized populations.
— We Build Networks
We bring together local and international actors—civil society organizations, government agencies, development experts, educators, law enforcement, and community leaders—to collaborate on issues of peacebuilding, prisoner rights, women’s empowerment, and environmental advocacy. By building strong networks, we amplify impact and drive systemic change.
— We Strengthen
We empower institutions, grassroots movements, educators, and civil society stakeholders through training, legal support, capacity building, and policy advocacy. Our work reinforces systems that protect human rights and ensure resilience in the fight against oppression and injustice.
— We Educate
Education is at the heart of what we do. We design and deliver inclusive learning programs for all ages, focusing on civic education, human rights, and personal development. We work within prisons, schools, and vulnerable communities to ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of knowledge and empowerment.
— We Provide Care
We offer holistic humanitarian support—emotional, psychological, legal, and material—to those affected by violence, injustice, displacement, or imprisonment. From women and children to inmates and at-risk youth, we serve with compassion, dignity, and respect for all human life.
— We Consult
We serve as advisors to governments, organizations, and community-based groups, offering insight into legal reform, education policy, human rights strategy, and sustainable development. Our consulting is rooted in practical experience, data, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive progress.

🌱 FIDE/FERI Joins Forces for Environmental Action in Lomé
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Foundation for Initiatives Relating to Rights in Education (FIDE/FERI), in collaboration with IHRC Geneva, proudly participated in a large-scale coconut tree planting initiative organized by the Lomé Town Hall.
This inspiring reforestation activity took place as part of a broader environmental protection campaign aimed at promoting green urban spaces and combating the effects of climate change. The project aligns with Chapter 12 (Social Services) of our organizational statutes, which emphasize our commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
A Step Toward a Greener Future
FIDE/FERI’s involvement in this initiative marks a significant milestone in fulfilling one of our key objectives—environmental protection through active community engagement. Our team joined local authorities, community leaders, and fellow citizens to plant coconut trees across designated areas of Lomé, contributing to the long-term reforestation plan of the city.
Recognition and Community Support
At the close of the event, the President of the CDQ (District Development Committee) commended the efforts of all participants. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of grassroots participation in national development goals and expressed gratitude for FIDE/FERI’s active role in the initiative. District leaders also extended a warm welcome and appreciation to our team for showing strong civic responsibility.
Their dedication and presence underscore our commitment to community-centered action and partnership-driven development.
Moving Forward
FIDE/FERI remains deeply committed to promoting not just education and human rights, but also sustainable and inclusive development. We salute the Lomé Town Hall for this impactful initiative and look forward to more opportunities to collaborate in building a healthier, greener environment for all.

Support Us and Change the Course of a Child
To Educate a Child is to Transform a Nation
“Education in its entirety is truly the key to success, but until we redefine our education system to provide real values and skills that can transform, not just a life, but a whole generation, we can’t accept this KEY.”
